Coincident with 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Aliuser today would like to launch its new interface design of Alirens.com ( a news blog for B2B marketplaces in relation to Alibaba ) following weeks-0f-debugging and functions re-setting. The primary goal is to improve user experiences by learning from our peers.

Aliuser decided to make the move a few weeks ago with a view to:

  • enhancing the site usability by restructuring its information architecture in our best capacity
  • highlighting feature stories and making them easily accessible to users
  • reducing clicks to read each post as much as possible – hopefully users can reach them in 2 clicks or less
  • adding weight on photo images to explain user scenarios and spicing up visual design
  • optimizing its content with SEO initiatives

Meanwhile, to mark the opening of China’s 60th anniversary National Day festivities, President Hu Jintao, standing up through the sunroof of  a Chinese-made limosine,  waved and drove past the rows of troops and immobile tanks for half hour.

While watching the 60-gun salute and tens of thousands paraders on Tiananmen Square, we are impressed!  Lastly, we would like to say “Happy Birthday, China!”
