The first thing that caught Aliuser’s eyes on the new SuperDeals Channel is its new search function that enables users to search within SuperDeals promtion items.
In the past, Alibaba SuperDeals channel did not offer such a search function to us, thus finding products within SuperDeals is painful. It can hardly tell users that it’s user friendly or easy to use
Search Result Pages have pros and cons
The search result pages of SuperDeals look different from its sourcing platform. Overall, its setup – three column design, is far more simple and concise to look at than searching products in other sections, using different parameters. it manages to engage users to keep scanning the information through a more decent layout.
Users will recognize their current location by reading – All “fashion accessories” in Current Promotions.
Aliuser however, does not feel comfortable with its copy-editing work. Product sub-headers, such as “hair decoration fashion accessory b-5000″, ”Fashion Charm” always leave me with bewilderment.
Besides, there are not many suppliers choices. Products come from a couple of suppliers in different listings.
What’s New Alibaba SuperDeals channel
This is probably the second time Alibaba (HKSE1688) redesigns its SuperDeals channel. Ever since its launch, SuperDeals regularly promote products for buyers with essential trade information such as Price Range, FOB and MOQ.
The new channel help international buyers to source products through
- Bargain Deals – Products that are available at prices lower than those available elsewhere
- Seasonal Products – Products that are only available at certain times of the year e.g. Christmas, Chinese New Year etc.
- Wholesale Products – Large products that are available at low MOQ and at factory prices
- New & Novel Items - New products with special feature(s) unavailable elsewhere.
- Stock Clearance – Products that are being cleared-off suppliers’ inventory and sold at low prices.
- Regional Products – Specialty products that display strong characteristics of certain countries or regions.
- Eco-Friendly Products- Products with energy saving features, eco-friendly characteristics or manufacturing methods.
- Business Services – Promotion from suppliers offering trade services such as Shipping, Printing, OEM and more.
